Dogs don’t just stay with us; they thrive here. They get to play, socialize, rest in private suites, and even enjoy a trip to our spa for a full dog groom or a relaxing bath. Every part of their stay is designed to reduce stress, promote happiness, and provide the highest quality care possible. It’s a getaway for dogs and total peace of mind for their humans.

We curate every dog’s stay and treat them like a member of the family. Our trained boarding staff loves to create enriching experiences for our guests, giving them plenty of cuddles and making their stay at The Bark Spot a happy one. Every overnight stay includes:

All-day play: Your pup can enjoy indoor or outdoor supervised play sessions with groups customized to their energy level and size. It’s a great way for dogs to socialize and burn off some energy!
Enrichment activities: From dog-safe climbing equipment to brain games, our handlers will ensure their body and brains get plenty of exercise.
24/7 on-site staff: Trained handlers are always on-site, guiding games, giving pats, and dishing out the occasional treat (with prior consent). They will also check on your pup overnight and are always nearby if needed.
Meal services: Bring your dog’s food along, and we’ll keep them on schedule and make sure their belly stays happy.
Medication administration: Oral or topical, our team can keep up with medications while you are away.
Photos and updates: We know you’ll miss your dog while you’re away, so we’ll update you with photos and messages letting you know they are having a great time at The Bark Spot.

We partner with local emergency vets, so if anything comes up while you are away, we can make sure your dog gets the care and comfort they need.

Rules & Regulations

All dogs must be at least 10–12 weeks of age or older.
All dogs must be spayed/neutered by 7 months to play at daycare or board with us.
All dogs must have up to date vaccinations and must be given by a licensed veterinarian. Owners must show printed proof of vaccinations including Rabies for puppies over 4 months of age. DHLPP (Distemper) and Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Without proof of vaccinations, the canine will not be allowed to play or stay at Bark Spot until proof is obtained.
All dogs must be in good health. Owners must certify that the canine has not had any communicable condition in the previous thirty days. Any dog that has had a communicable condition needs a veterinarian certification of health to be able to attend Bark Spot.
All dogs must be non-aggressive towards other dogs/humans and not food or toy protective.
All dogs are required to pass a temperament evaluation. Safety of all the dogs and employee is essential. All owners must certify that their canine has not harmed a canine or human in the past.
All dogs must not be able to jump a 5’6” fence.

Utah Luxury Dog Boarding FAQs

What time can we drop off or pick up?

You can drop your dog off during our business hours on the day their boarding is scheduled to start. All boarding prices include doggie daycare from the day you drop off until the following day at 1:00 PM. If your dog is picked up after 1:00 PM there will be a $20.00 daycare charge, unless your dog was groomed on pick-up day, receive 10% off your dog groom and free daycare. Talk to our boarding team for more details.

Can I bring my dog's own food and bedding?

Yes! Familiar food will keep their tummy settled while you are away, and a favorite blanket or bed can make their suite feel more like home. We will provide all the treats and toys! Please leave bowls at home.

Will my dog get lonely at night?

We’ll make sure they don’t! Staff do late-night rounds, and we can play soft music to create a calm, soothing atmosphere. Most dogs settle in for the night quickly after a big day of playing with friends!

Does my dog need vaccines to board?

Every dog that will be boarded, groomed, or attend daycare will be required to have the following up-to-date vaccinations for:

Rabies
Distemper – Parvo (DHPP)
Bordetella (mandatory for Boarding and Daycare)

It is the responsibility of the pet owner to provide documentation of the up-to-date vaccines on the proper form provided by their veterinarian.

It is the responsibility of the employee checking the pet in to ensure they receive this copy and that the required vaccinations are up-to-date.

Can I still board my dog with you if they aren't social?

Yes! We tailor every dog’s stay to their comfort level. We’ll work with you to find the option that’s right for your dog, ensuring they enjoy plenty of cuddles and fun no matter which option you choose.
